About the project initiative
Project goals and objectives
Strengthening the institutional development of the team of the KRYPO "Kharkiv Volunteer Centre" to restore and activate public activities in the interests of women, promoting gender equality in the field of peace and security in the Kharkiv region.
Ensuring the effective operation of the KRYPO "Kharkiv Volunteer Centre" in wartime: enhancing management, updating policies and plans, improving team qualifications, developing technical and logistical capabilities, as well as an information campaign to activate the volunteer movement in the Kharkiv region.
The project is implemented by the KRYPO "Kharkiv Volunteer Centre" with technical support from "UN Women Asia" and "UN Women in Ukraine" and funded by the "Women's Peace & Humanitarian Fund" and UN humanitarian assistance (WPHF), a flexible and responsive funding tool that supports quality initiatives to enhance the capacity of local women in conflict prevention, crisis response, and emergency situations, and leverage key opportunities for peacebuilding.

The power of unity and action
The KRYPO "Kharkiv Volunteer Centre" is a community that has been supporting vulnerable groups for over 18 years, including: people with disabilities, the elderly, internally displaced persons, large and low-income families, families raising children and youth with disabilities, women from vulnerable categories, and people in difficult life circumstances.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, we have provided assistance to over 90,000 individuals, united over 50 volunteers, and implemented more than 30 projects.

The KRYPO "Kharkiv Volunteer Centre" actively supports socially vulnerable groups. Over the years of our work, we have engaged thousands of volunteers and organized numerous humanitarian initiatives, especially during the war.

The KRYPO "Kharkiv Volunteer Centre" is an active volunteer organization that has been helping people in difficult circumstances since 2007. During the war, we have gathered resources to assist over 90,000 individuals, conducted numerous projects, and engaged volunteers for positive change.
